The Lady Panthers took on the Comfort Deer in Comfort on Friday, January 11.

The Panthers, who went into this game 2-0 were hoping to gain another win for their district record.

The game started ugly as the Panthers missed more than half of their shots and turned over the ball and were unable to get rebounds, while the Comfort Deer who were 0-2 seemed to have everything go their way.

The first period ended with the Panthers in the lead but only by one point.

During the second period of the game, the Panthers could not seem to do anything right, yet the Deer were doing it all correct. The Panthers only scored one point during this period. The Deer moved out into the lead and scored six points and took the lead with a score Blanco 12, Comfort 16 and this is the way it sat during half time.

As the teams returned to the court, Panther fans could tell Blanco was frustrated, the Panthers sank 14 points during the third period and held the Deer to only 11 points which tied up the game at the end of the period.

The Panthers had to really step up the pressure to take the win over the Comfort Deer and their very loud and energetic fans who filled to stand.
