Highland Arts Demo
Wednesday, February 11, 2009 • Posted February 10, 2009

Pat Haberman of Dripping Springs will demonstrate oil painting with a Tuscan landscape at the Highland Arts Gallery on Thursday, February 19 at 9:30am.

Haberman nurtured her “innate and latent artistic ambitions” through raising her family and at least two relocations. Moving back to Texas, she studied art and architecture at UT Austin and then had careers in construction, interior design, and real estate. Pat discovered plein air painting in 1999 at a Kevin McPherson workshop in Taos, NM. She quickly made outdoor painting her main practice. Her passion for it inspired her to travel, spending time in France, Spain, Italy, and Colorado. Now dividing her time between the Texas Hill Country and the Conejos River valley of Colorado, Pat finds landscapes, flowers and unique old buildings everywhere to paint.

Visitors are always welcome, at no charge, to the demo. A light lunch will be served afterwards. Call 830-693-7324 or 830-693-5883 for more information. The gallery is at 318 Main, in Marble Falls.
