March 9, 2009 is the last day to file for a place on the ballot for the School Board election that will take place on May 9, 2009. Places 3 and 4, currently held by Dr. David Behrends and Kirk Felps, are due to expire.

Citizens interested in running are invited to attend a workshop given by Mary Ann Weaver regarding the requirements, general roles and responsibilities of the board. ethical campaigning, and a summary of election laws.
