The Father/Daughter Valentine’s Dance was a huge success this year, raising over $1,000 that will go to help find a cure for cancer because of this fundraiser!

Over 125 young ladies and their dates attended, and were beautiful, dressed up with corsages, escorted by their father, grandfather, or friend.

The dance was held at Gem of the Hills, and the tables were decorated with purple ribbons, the signature color for Relay For Life, Valentine cards and candy.

There were 200 purple balloons covering the floore as the guests arrived.

The Night Pray-er's team held the fundraiser to raise money for the Relay For Life Blanco County, which is an annual event that benefits the American Cancer Society.

The dance was held on Saturday, February 14.

Gem of the Hills donated the use of their facilities, Ronnie Batchelor donated his D.J. services, and Dennis & Kenneth Moore donated the carriage rides.

Willard Gibbons donated his photography services, and Subway of Blanco, Johnson City, Llano donated cookies.

CJ's Food Plaza gave pizzas at a discount, Blanco National Bank provided a photo pickup spot, as did Suzy Q's.

Over 15 other people donated their time to decorate and help make this a fun & successful fundraiser.
