Dirt Works to Host Ribbon Cutting Saturday for New Location
Wednesday, February 25, 2009 • Posted February 24, 2009

On Saturday, February 28th, Dirt Works will be hosting a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting at their new, expanded material yard located at FM 32 and Lindemann Lane just south of Blanco. Join them from 10:00-1:00 pm to enjoy food and drink, and enter drawings for some cool door prizes.

Dirt Works’ sister company, Dirt Rents, will also be on hand for customers to check out their rental fleet, try out equipment, and take suggestions of the needs of their customers for equipment and small tools.

Wayne “Dirt” Dworaczyk listened to the needs of his customers and decided to expand the business to fit those needs. The old location at Rolling Hills Rd was not large enough to house the multiple requests, which included, landscape rocks, specialty soils & different pieces of equipment for the various contractors in our community. The property on Lindemann lane was just the ticket, as it included the much needed top soil and caliche Dirt Works customers ask for.

Those who know Dirt also know how much he and Mrs. Dirt (Deborah) enjoy giving back to the community who has supported them and their employees since arriving in Blanco, so they decided to make a party out of the grand opening. Come join them for hot dogs, sausage wraps, drinks and fun. Take a spin on a skid steer, see demonstrations by the operators and by Dirt himself, and he will show you how he earned the nickname “Dirt”!
