Tomasa Pacheco

Tomasa Pacheco, born December 29, 1930, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg, TX. She was born in the historic Mission Espada in San Antonio, TX to her father, Francisco Moreau Saucedo, and her mother, Ramona Martinez Saucedo.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Fernando Paul Flores. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Miguel Pacheco, two sons, Jose "Paco" Pacheco and wife, Andrea of Wylie, TX and Armando Pacheco of Fredericksburg, TX, three daughters, Maria "Coco" Ramirez and husband Jay of San Antonio, TX, Rosie Rios of Johnson City, TX and Rosaura "Rose" Rios and husband Sylvester also of Johnson City. She is also survived by her brother Ben Saucedo and wife Adelina and sister Isabel Velez and husband Lorenzo all of San Antonio, TX, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Crofts Funeral Home (10th and Mesquite) in Blanco, TX where a Rosary will be held at 7:00pm Thursday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Friday, February 27, 2009 at St. Ferdinand’s Catholic Church (25 Main Street) in Blanco, TX. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (Hwy 473 East) in Blanco, TX. Memorials in the name of Tomasa Pacheco may be made to the American Cancer Society.
