Here's Nicholas Cage in his latest venture into the tough guy genre. You know the story: cold-blooded killing machine/hitman (Nicolas) is all business until he falls for a kind, beautiful woman, then befriends a young thief who becomes his mentor in killing. Because of all these people getting too close, he gets soft, makes mistakes and has to finally think outside his wallet and make some right and wrong decisions. Set all of this in Bangkok (a very dangerous city in this film) and you have exciting, gritty action flick.

Not my favorite Cage movie (that goes to Con Air) but worth watching. 2 1/2 paws
