Following your publication of my letter last week, I was questioned by some of my friends about Acorn, specifically Acorn indictments for voter fraud. I confirmed on Google that there have been indictments and convictions in Wisconsin and Colorado. This is the outfit that has been given 4.19 billion dollars in Obama’s Recovery Plan.

In his speech on Tuesday, Obama hailed his Energy Plan. He stated that the production of renewable energy would be doubled next year. It was the only activity mentioned following his stated ambition of energy independence for the U.S. The implication being that doubling renewable energy would be a start toward energy independence. If he increased that source 100 fold, it would not dent the consumption of oil in this country. His magic wand of energy is an insult to any person capable of thought. Our economy is based on the internal combustion engine fueled by gasoline!

Conspicuously absent in his speech, was any mention of drilling and development of oil and gas in our country. This is possibly the greatest area for permanent employment that we have. He is ignoring it and is advocating subsidy for failure after failure. When government subsidizes anything, we get a bountiful crop of it. For example, we have been subsidizing illegitimate births for forty years. The illegitimacy rate is off the chart and has changed our whole culture. Subsidizing failure such as banks, insurance, automobiles and vote thieves will assure us a big crop of the same.
