•New Hope Lutheran invites you to come share in the peace of this season of reflection, Lent, every Wednesday evening through April 8 from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. The Sanctuary will be open for you to come and pray, or meditate, or to just "be". You may come and go as you choose. At 7:00pm, you are invited to a brief worship service of Holy Communion. Feel free to "come-as-you-are", and to invite your friends and neighbors. Everyone is always welcome at New Hope! Services conducted in the All-Faiths Chapel Building, located at the corner of 9th and Elm Streets in Blanco.

project celebrating the German heritage of the Texas Hill Country. The photographic exhibit “Lone Star and Eagle,” provided through Humanities Texas, continues to be on display.

•American Cancer Society Volunteer Training: The American Cancer Society desperately needs volunteers who are available to transport cancer patients to their appointments. Volunteers will receive brief training and are reimbursed for the miles they drive. Next training session will be held March 13 from 10am to 12:30pm at the Blanco Library.
