Frank and Joy Brussel recently made a trip to New Zealand, Tasmania and Australia. They boarded a ship in Aukland, NZ and visited many ports along the way—taking a train ride into the Southern Alps, visiting a kiwi fruit farm, getting acquainted with Maori customs and rituals, and of course, seeing lots of kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and koalas. The Scottish and English architecture in many of the cities is very impressive. No land is wasted as they are very concious of land and water conservation. Frank and Joy found the people very friendly and anxious to help. Melbourse is even more arid than we are as they are experiencing a ten year drought. The Fiordland National Park encompassing some three million acres was awesome.
