Wednesday, March 25, 2009 • Posted March 24, 2009

The Senior class of 2009 invites all of Blanco out to dinner! Come to the Rockin R Steakhouse, today, March 25 for a delicious meal, wonderful service and a great time. The dinner benefits Project Graduation, an organization that provides safe and fun activities for Seniors on graduation night.

Project Graduation is a nationwide event that was started over 20 years ago by a group of parents seeking to keep their kids safe and drug and alcohol free on graduation night. The celebration includes games, door prizes, music, food, and lots and lots of fun.

It is an all night event put on entirely by the parents of the Seniors.

The fundraiser benefits the group by providing money to purchase prizes, provide decorations and food.

This year’s celebrity dinner will include your choice of either a Grilled 8oz. Top Sirloin, Freshwater Rainbow Trout Almondine, or Chicken Monterey. All entrees come with a mixed salad, rolls, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans, plus your choice of tea, coffee or soda. For dessert, strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.

The cost for each meal is $16.95 plus tax. A child’s plate with either chicken fingers or a mini pizza is only $6.

Celebrity service provided by: Coach Bill Tesch; High School Principal, Dustin Barton; Blanco National Bank President, Mark Tidwell; Blanco High School teachers Gina Blankenburg, Amy Petri, and Debbie Caudell; Pam Moore of Blanco Floral and Gift Shop; Steve Mackey of Young Life; Dr. Doug Pautz, Dentist; Coach Danny Rogers; and Steve Tamez.

Come out and support the Blanco High School Senior Class of 2009.
