Blanco Volunteer Fire Department Announces Annual Fish Fry
Wednesday, March 25, 2009 • Posted March 24, 2009

On Saturday, April 4, the Blanco Volunteer Fire Department will host their Twelfth Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser. Mark your calendar now!

The event will be held at the fire station, 503 Pecan Street, from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.

The department has invested in more cookers, so the members hope this will solve the problem of people having to wait to be served up the delicious fish and trimmings that the volunteers will be serving.

Every year, the BVFD hosts the Fish Fry in order to help raise much needed funds that are used for equipment, training and other necessities of the department.

The BVFD is a volunteer organization that works together to ensure that the citizens of Blanco and the surrounding areas are safe in the event of a fire by responding quickly and efficiently to the fire, getting it under control and extinguishing it.

Your donation per plate will include dessert and a drink. Raffle tickets will be sold at the door. Your support is greatly appreciated.
