After hearing a lot about the book series, the DVD Twilight gets a crack at the Vampire/Romance fans. We, not unlike a lot of people, have not read the books but were a little intrigued by the story. Twilight is geared more towards a younger audience, but I think older ones will also be intrigued.

A big town girl moves in with her small town dad and meets some nice kids at the high school; and then gets the attention of, well let’s say one of the little more different groups in the high school. The Vampire twist is a little different in this movie because the family is trying to live like normal people and you get a glimpse of interaction that is unique and interesting, and I enjoyed the movie more than I figured I would. The story hits the climax when Belle’s life is in danger because other Vamps come sniffing around and causing trouble. This movie is just the first of what will be around 3 or 4 movies to come, but seems to be a good introduction to the series. 3 paws
