First Baptist Church to Host Dinner Theatre
Wednesday, March 25, 2009 • Posted March 24, 2009

On March 28 and 29, the students from the First Baptist Church of Blanco will be hosting a Dinner Theatre in the Fellowship Hall at the Baptist Church. There will be a Mexican dinner served during the variety show.

The Dinner Theatre has been held annually for over twenty years and helps to fund mission activities that the students participate in during the summer. In the summer of 2007, the group went to Glorietta, New Mexico where they landscaped a nursing home courtyard. In 2008, they held a backyard club for displaced and underprivileged children in Cleveland, Tennessee.

The missions experience not only benefits the recipients but all the students who go as well. They get to see life from another perspective and see that they can really make a difference.

The students would like to invite everyone in the Blanco community to come, eat, and have an exceptionally good time. The program starts at 6:30 each night and tickets will be available at the door for $15.
