Ark Revival Ministries is pleased to introduce Blanco, Texas to Dr. Paul Costa on April 5th 2009 at 6:00pm. Dr. Paul Costa was born and raised in Port Chester, New York. As a high school athlete, he was offered college scholarships in football, basketball, and track. Paul elected to play football for the University of Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish, where he was drafted by the Buffalo Bills when he was a junior. After graduation from Notre Dame, Costa played professional football for 10 years: 8 years with the Bills and 2 years in the World Football League. Paul won a starting job at tight-end his rookie year with the Bills and soon became one of the premier tight ends in the AFL, playing in two Pro Bowls. He moved to offensive tackle in his fifth year with the Bills and became a standout, making All Pro in his second year as a tackle. Costa played with such notables as Jack Kemp and the now infamous O.J. Simpson.
Paul has been in the ministry for 27 years. Sixteen of those years he pastored churches, and the last 11 years, he has traveled and ministered worldwide. Paul holds a B.A. Degree from the University of Notre Dame, and an M.A. And Ph.D. From the California Graduate School of Theology.
Besides having a strong pulpit ministry, Paul is powerfully gifted in healing, miracles, and the prophetic. There are always numerous testimonies of dramatic healings in all of his meetings. His prophetic gifting will release the saints of God into functional ministry. Paul is passionate about raising up leaders to fulfill their calling and to impact the world around them.
Paul has been a guest on the 700 Club, TBN, PTL, and various other Christian TV and radio venues. He was the editor of The Networker, a cutting-edge apostolic/prophetic magazine for Christian leaders, and has co-authored several books with Apostle John Kelly (such as, End Time Warrior, and The Power to Get Wealth). Paul teaches a course on Practical Apostolic Ministry, and has had various articles published, including an article in Ministries Today titled “Healthy Church Apostles.” Paul is a member of the International Coalition of Apostles (ICA).
Is healing for today?
The body of Christ is split on the subject of healing. Many godly people will tell you no, the gift of miraculous healing is not readily available to believers today; it was just meant for a season. Others, just as godly, will say yes, it's for us too. The fact that there is a wide split on this issue indicates that the biblical support doesn't stack up neatly on just one side. Meanwhile, the enemy has frequently used this difference of opinion to divide body of Christ---because Christian unity is a deadly force against the powers of hell.
So is healing for today? You get to decide for yourself. Don't blindly adopt the view of others. Listen to them, but don't stop there. Ask God, and take time to listen. Search the scriptures. And do what very few Christians do---seek out biblical counsel from a variety of sources. Too many of us only read books or articles from a select group of authors, generally those who see things exactly as we do. But a wise man will dare to expose himself to more than one biblical view point. Come see for yourself that God’s word is alive.
Are you sick? Do you know someone who needs healing? Do you want to receive the impartation of healing? Do you like the Apostle Thomas want to see for your belief? Do you need encouragement? We invite you to come receive a fresh touch of God.
