FFA Members Serve as Youth Tour Guides
Wednesday, April 1, 2009 • Posted March 31, 2009

Each year the San Antonio Livestock show provides the opportunity for FFA, 4-H and FCCLA members to enhance their leadership skills by allowing students to serve as tour guides for the School Tours Program. It is the responsibity of the FFA students to lead the youth through the educational exhibits that teach about the different phases of the agricultural industry. This year, Blanco had sixteen students participate. They are: Austin Deshane, Alex Gustafson, Mindy Dechert, Claire Klepac, Victoria Jones, Shelby Moore, Keaton Dodd, Quaid Haack, Katie Baker, Kaleigh Anderson, Tucker Edmondson, John Pepper, Tanner Reddout, Aaron Thomson, Austin Smith and Trevor Hardin (Not Pictured). Students who participate in the Youth School Tours Program are then eligible to apply for numerous scholarships provided by the San Antonio Livestock Show School Tours Program.
