Panthers Dominating on the Diamond

Blanco 14 Navarro 3

The Panthers defeated Navarro 14-3 in 6 innings.

Blake West picked up the win as he went three innings, struck out four and gave up only two hits. Keaton Dodd went three innings in relief.

John Pepper was perfect at the plate going 4 for 4 with a dinger. Corey Dowlearn was 3 for 4. Kevin Gray had two hits, including a walk-off three run home run. Brooks Wyatt singled and had three RBI’s.

Waco Robinson 7 Blanco 2

Blanco traveled to Florence and played Waco Robinson over Spring Break. Lance Gottardy went four innings, striking out two and scattering seven hits.

John Pepper again was perfect with a stick as he was 3 for 3. Blake West had two singles, and Gottardy singled and had two RBI’s.

Panthers Sweep San Antonio Patriots in Doubleheader

The Panthers defeated the Patriots 4-3 and 21-0.

Blake West took the mound in the opener and went 6 strong innings, striking out 5 and scattering 5 hits. Kevin Gray relieved West in the 7th, facing four batters and striking out two to get the win.

Brooks Wyatt and Blake West each had two hits. Ethan Evans singled and knocked in two runs.

Keaton Dodd got the ball in the second game and went three innings, striking out three with 0 hits. Travis McClinton and Ethan Evans relieved Dodd and all combined on a 1-hitter.

Blanco exploded with 22 hits and 21 runs in game 2.

Kevin Gray was 4 for 4 scoring three runs. Lance Gottardy and John Pepper each had three hits. Brooks Wyatt, Blake West, Ethan Evans, and Grady Childress all had two hits.

Blanco Defeats SA Randolph in District Opener 12-1

Michael Cummings picked up his 4th win of the year as he went four innings, striking out six and giving up only three hits.

Kevin Gray pitched two scoreless innings in relief.

Corey Dowlearn carried the lumber for the Panthers, as he was a perfect 4 for 4 with 3 RBI’s. Lance Gottardy and Ethan Evans each had two hits.

Comfort defeats Blanco 5-1

Blanco lost to a good Comfort Bobcat team to go 1-1 in district play.

Kevin Gray went five innings on the bump, striking out two and scattering 6 hits. Blake West threw two scoreless innings in relief.

The Panthers only managed four hits on the night. Four singles from Kevin Gray, Brooks Wyatt, John Pepper, and Blake West.

Blanco is now 9-7 on the year and 1-1 in district play.
