• Reckless Driver. 12:08 PM. A vehicle at a high rate of speed was reported through Johnson City on US 281. Officers spotted the vehicle going the speed limit in Blanco and Johnson City. The driver took US 290 West and Gillespie County was notified. Johnson City PD and Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
• Welfare Concern. 4:50 PM. A caller was on her way to pick up a subject from the Blanco County Inn.
• Animal Complaint. 8:40 PM. A large pack of dogs on 5th Street was reportedly running around the neighborhood.
• Unsecured Building. 11:25 PM. Open door at Blanco High School.

• Physical Disturbance. 10:20 PM. Elm St. An officer separated the parties.

• Loose Livestock. 7:54 AM. Goats on US 281.
• Theft. 8:38 AM. A subject was found stealing water from a fire hydrant. An officer located the subject, who then paid for the water.
• Vandalism / Burglary. 8:58 AM. One of the classrooms at the middle school was broken into over the weekend. An item was stolen.

• Juvenile Complaint. 8:03 PM. Two juveniles showed up at the caller’s house reportedly under the influence of drugs (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Information. 7:04 AM. A student at the middle school was reportedly threatening to being a gun to school.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 9:12 AM. The 911 operator received two 911 calls but the caller did not have an emergency.
• Juvenile Transport. 11:27 AM. Two juveniles were taken to juvenile detention in Kerrville.
• Grass Fire. 2:50 PM. Rolling Hills Rd. Mutual aid from Johnson City requested.

• Traffic Accident. 7:43 AM. A truck rolled over on RR 165 at RR 2325 and was found against a tree. No one was around (with Texas DPS).

• Minor Traffic Accident. 8:44 AM. Two-vehicle accident at 4th and Live Oak.
Feb 5
• Suspicious Circumstances / Information. 8:38 AM. A student reportedly saw human remains down by the river the day before. The officer was unable to locate the remains.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 10:05 PM. A vehicle kept driving by and turning. An officer warned the subject not to return.

• 911 Call. 6:45 AM. A computer called 911 by accident (with Johnson City PD).
• Civil Service. 10:45 AM. Officer served paper.
• Suspicious. 11:11 AM. Two subjects walking down the road were suspected of breaking into houses.
• Loose Livestock. 2:09 PM. Six to seven cows loose on Cox Rd. at Hwy. 32.
• Debris in Roadway. 3:16 PM. Large spring on US 281.
• Motorist Assist. 4:21 PM. Stranded 18-wheeler on US 281.
• Welfare Check (Juvenile Walking). 11:56 PM. Caller reported a juvenile walking along Spur 356 (with Johnson City PD).

• Reckless Driver. 12:13 AM. Caller reported a pickup passing on both the right and left of US 281.
• Traffic Accident / Traffic Hazard. 5:50 AM. Caller reported a large number of cows on US 281, north of Johnson City, and that he had hit two. The caller reported no injuries but the cows were blocking the lanes (with Johnson City PD).
• Disturbance. 1:40 PM. Class A assault report taken.
• Loose Livestock. 5:45 PM. Five large pigs were reported in the middle of the roadway on US 281 near McCall Creek Rd. The pigs were secured by a relative of the owner.
• Unreported Accident. 8:38 PM. A vehicle reportedly hit a dog on US 281. The subject left the dog at the scene to report the accident. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle, dog, or caller.
• Criminal Mischief. 9:33 PM. A subject at Cielo Springs was reporting throwing eggs at passing traffic on US 281.

• Noise Complaint. 1:33 AM. Caller heard noise coming from an unknown area nearby. The noise later stopped.
• Traffic Hazard. 8:06 AM. Part of a bumper on US 281.
• Stranded Motorist. 12:25 PM. Truck and trailer on the side of US 290 West with two flat tires.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 2:06 PM. Caller reported neighbor who burns during a burn ban.
• Theft of Service. 2:59 PM. Gas drive-off.
• Controlled Fire. 4:27 PM. Caller reported a fire during the burn ban.
• Structure Fire. 5:02 PM. Structure and electrical pole on fire off Hwy. 32.
• Suspicious Vehicle. 5:39 PM. A motorcycle rider reportedly nearly hit the caller.
• Juvenile Complaint. 5:44 PM. Caller reported a kid riding a dirt bike at a high rate of speed.

• Suspicious Activity. 12:17 AM. Caller reported a vehicle that was slowly driving around the area and had seen the vehicle earlier in the day.
• Lost Property. 11:50 AM. Caller lost property in JC.
• Discharge of Firearm. 1:20 PM. Caller reported people in a nearby field shooting firearms close enough for bullets to hit the residence. Officer advised the group to be more careful.

• Theft. 10:11 AM. Vehicle reported missing but was repossessed.
• Traffic Accident. 4:10 PM. One vehicle rollover on RR 2766 was reported. The caller was unsure of any injuries. A fence was damaged. A subject left the scene, was seen on a nearby ranch, and was later found by officers. One subject was arrested (with Texas DPS).
• Suspicious Person. 7:42 PM. Caller reported a suspicious person who showed up at the door, confused and bloody. EMS and officers were requested. One subject was arrested. DPS and Johnson City PD assisted.
• Verbal Disturbance. 10:01 PM. Subjects had a verbal disturbance over who was going to take property from the residence.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 2:36 PM. A vehicle was reportedly trying to get onto the caller’s property.
• Disturbance. 8:11 PM. One subject arrested in call about physical assault.

• Suspicious Vehicle/Person. 5:00 AM. A caller found a subject sleeping in a vehicle in the middle of Logan’s Way. The officer gave the driver a ride to his workplace.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 12:46 PM. Caller reported a strong odor of natural gas on US 281.

• A black vehicle on US 290 East from Dripping Springs was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed with an unsecured child in the back seat.. 5:34 PM. (with Blanco Co. SO)

Feb 2
• Major Traffic Accident. 7:24 PM. An individual reportedly picked up a subject who was injured in a motorcycle accident on CR 201, east of Pedernales Falls State Park.
Feb 3
• Arrest. 12:02 AM. One subject taken to jail.
• Traffic Accident. 5:07 PM. A vehicle hit a tree on US 281, south of Glencrest, and an occupant was pinned in and injured. EMS, Blanco Fire Department, and AirLife were dispatched (with Blanco Co. SO).
• Agency Assist / Arrest on View. 9:27 PM. DPS requested backup at a vehicle search on US 281 south of Johnson City. One subject was arrested and taken to get blood drawn before going to jail. Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and Johnson City PD assisted.
