The Summer Blockbusters have arrived on DVD for some of us who prefer to watch them in the fall. Transformers fits the blockbuster status perfectly with its special effects and action sequences. I found myself rooting as if I was a kid again playing good guys vs. bad. I liked this movie and it was pretty much what I expected it to be, a little bit of everything (comedy, action, & romance - on the human side), even though I wish the end would’ve turned out a little different, I fully expected Optimus Prime & Megatron to be the battle off all battles at the end, but he was done in by something else.

This is a really fun movie to watch; great action, sense of humor and attachment to the characters. The thing that strikes you the most while watching the movie “Transformers” is not how spectacular its special effects are or how ferociously its action sequences come across on screen, but rather how very FUNNY so much of the movie manages to be.
