Poor Boy Model-A Tour Cruises Through Blanco
Wednesday, April 8, 2009 • Posted April 7, 2009

For a brief time on Saturday, it was like Blanco had stepped back into the early 1900s. Approximately 50-70 antique Model-A cars ranging from the years 1928 to 1931 cruised around the Blanco Town Square.

It was the "Poor Boy Model-A Tour." The tour is made up of four antique car clubs. L.W. and Marlene Locke, who were in the tour, stated that the maximum speed the cars can go is 50 mph. This year the tour started in Lockhart, with scheduled stops in Blanco and Wimberley, making for a 120 mile run.
