Local talent will blossom onstage this Spring with the Blanco Bluegrass and Country Gospel Music Festival.

So mark the date of April18, 2009 on your calendars!

Aligning with the same Saturday as the Blanco Marketdays, this “spirited” and colorful event will be held from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on the historical grounds of

The Old Blanco County Courthouse. there will be a variety of craft and food vendors; and opportunities to shop the old town of Blanco for both children and adults.

Local performers and bands from surrounding areas will present a variety of Bluegrass and Country Gospel music. Talented musicians include: the Blanco Canyon Gospel Group, Gene & LaVada Triesch, The Jubilee Singers and the Jam Group.

Also: Don & Wanda Bryant, the Lone Man Mountain boys, The Cowboys for Jesus Band, The Red Shirts and the Blue Creek Bluegrass Gospel Band.
