Scouts Treated to Trips
Wednesday, April 8, 2009 • Posted April 7, 2009

On March 8th, the Boy Scouts went to see the Spurs at the AT&T Center. This was a Boy Scout event that was set up by the Spurs organization. The boys and parents had a great time. Jacob Robinson caught one of the shirts that they dropped from the ceiling during the game and everyone got a free hot dog, drink and chips.

The Cub Scouts had a big treat on Tuesday, March 31st at the new Dirt Works facility. Mr. Wayne "Dirt" Dworaczyk gave the boys a tour of the facility and told them about the machines he had in the yard. He let them climb the biggest dirt pile at the place and let every boy move two rocks with the mini excavator. The boys and parents had a great time. The boys were very appreciative of Mr. Dirt for hosting a very informative and fun adventure.
