On March 31, 2009 Lauren Savage accepted the 2009 San Antonio Express-News All-Regional A-Team Award from the San Antonio Express-News President and Publisher Tom Stephenson at the A-Team Luncheon. The prestigious A-Team Award Program is a program that honors local high school seniors who have made a difference through their dedication to excellence in academics and through their community involvement.

Lauren Savage has a focus and commitment to her studies as well as an admirable balance to give of her time and talent to her school and community. She serves as a positive role model to her peers, and for this she is recognized in a special way to all who know her.

We are proud to see her as a Blanco High School Senior already making a positive impact on our society through all her work involvement, academic excellence, and commitment to the less fortunate.
