Giving ALL to God
Wednesday, April 15, 2009 • Posted April 14, 2009

When we give each little problem to the Lord God, He takes them and fixes them, blesses us and the problem, and gives it back to us, fixed in the spiritual realm, testing us to see if we are now leaning on Him and trusting in Him, and that He will complete the fix, as we wait on Him and His perfect timing.

Then, as we think of all our problems that we’ve turned over to our Lord, ask yourself; have you given yourself to Him? Your "self" should have been the first item to give over to Him, but if you saved yourself for last, consider that He may not have accepted your problems yet, because you have held out the one person who He loves, and that’s you!

So if you saved yourself for last, consider your life and everything and everyone in your life, and every blessing you have to be thankful for, and begin thanking Him, and give yourself over to Jesus.

Now that you have done that, go over all your problems again, and this time give each problem and relationship to the Lord, and ask Him to bless them and solve each situation.

This time, as you think of your life and everything going on in your life, ask yourself: what’s left? No more worries, because you have given yourself over to the Lord, and you have given every problem and relationship in your life over to Him. Whew! Relief time.

You and all your problems (and relationships) are up there in heaven with Jesus. Hmmmm. Stay with me here. You’re up there with Jesus, along with all your problems, looking down on the earth. You’re removed from earth. You're out of the picture. What do you see below? Chaos, destruction, lies, deceitfulness, bitterness, hatred, cruelty, a life not enjoyable at all. That’s because you’re up there in heaven with our Lord, in His peace and joy.

So, now that you’ve experienced what it feels like to be with our Lord, for that brief period of time (through prayer), you now reenter the world with a completely new perspective. That’s because you have seen that all the struggles you were going through were for nought. They did not have a return worthy of your time and effort. The return was a negative figure. You have just experienced what’s really worth living, and that was your time in prayer with our Lord.

Now you can reconsider what you spend your time on, and quit spinning your wheels on things that are earthly and don’t matter, and begin spending more time with our Lord, because your relationship with Him is what matters most.

Our God gives life and takes it away, and when He decides to take yours, the other relationships that you gave to Him earlier in our conversation, won’t matter anymore, because they’ll be on earth and you will be where? Will you be with Him? Will you be with the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, Jesus?

If you’re with Jesus, what will you talk about? Will you have anything in common? Will you have a relationship with Him? Will you get to live in the mansion that’s being prepared for you? Will there be a place reserved for you? Think about it.

Matthew 11:“27All things have been entrusted and delivered to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son deliberately wills to make Him known.

28Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

29Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.

30For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.” Selah.
