Blanco Realtor Dedicated to Leadership

“I had no idea how much I would learn and grow by being a part of this Leadership program,” says Stefanie Doyer, who is affiliated with EXIT One Realty. A group of civic-minded individuals over a nine-month period of time were chosen to observe a current topic of community interest. Often traveling to places such as City Hall, the County Courthouse, State Capital and local schools, the program encourages development of personal skills critical for effective community leadership. Participants are required to attend all classes, complete a community project, recognize upcoming leaders and facilitate a class the following year.

“This has been one of the best experiences of my life,” says Doyer. “Getting a first-hand view of day to day activities in the education and health service systems, speaking with our local, county and state government officials, gives you a new appreciation and understanding of what goes into sustaining and growing a community.” An experience that will stay with and influence Doyer’s decisions in her personal and professional life. “I’m always looking for opportunities to nurture leadership skills in myself and others, whether I’m serving my clients or being a role model to my family.”

This is an annual leadership program of the Bulverde Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce.
