Bob Daughdril went to Sulfur, Louisiana, two weeks ago for a retirement party for his son, Rob.

Deb and Lyle Yorgensen got back from Wichita, where Lyle's father had open-heart surgery. All went well. Thanks, everyone, for their concern and prayers.

Winston and Dorothy Moore from Spring Branch were spotted at Lonie Ethridge's house on Saturday. Dorothy is Lonie's daughter. It is always nice to "see" them around. They are good people.

Give a little thought to Emil Beckmann - he is going through a really rough time.

It is great to see Cheryl and Lewis Eckenrode of Johnson City back from their trip to points north. They had a wonderful time, according to Cheryl, and the scenery was awesome!

Don't forget to send a card or make a little visit to Virginia Beare. She loves the company and it would be nice to let her know people are thinking of her.

Don't forget the Friends of the Library Dinner and a Movie on November 9, beginning with the dinner at the courthouse and ending with the movie at the library. The photographic exhibit of Texas dance halls will certainly add to the atmosphere, especially as we will have the photographer to talk about her subject! We are going to have some good times!

The BUMC Bazaar is November 2 so for two weekends in a row you can eat and chat and look and just simply ENJOY!!!
