Blanco United Methodist Church Bazaar Coming Up November 3
Wednesday, October 17, 2007 • Posted October 16, 2007

Mark your calendars for the annual Blanco United Methodist Church Bazaar, to be held on November 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Since it is the first day of hunting season, hunters are welcome to come for the soup and salad luncheon after an early-morning hunt. New to the bazaar this year is a raffle for beautiful hand-crafted items made by Blanco residents. A queen-size quilt, pieced and quilted by Judy King and Dot Miller(not pictured), will be on display at the Blanco National Bank between now and the bazaar. Also to be raffled off are a baby quilt pieced and quilted by Laura Davis and an afghan crocheted by Ruby Jones. Raffle tickets will be sold at $1 apiece or six for $5.

As usual, homemade baked goods, jams, and jellies will be sold in the bakery; crafts and plants will be sold; and collectibles and bargains will be available in the garage sale portion of the bazaar in the fellowship hall area. Come shop, browse, eat, and buy at the biggest bazaar ever!
