•Songs & Stories Concert: 7:30pm at the Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Rd, Boerne. The Cibolo Nature Center's concert series has a great line up of musicians. John Focke and his band will play a repertoire of classic country, 70's easy listening, folk and bluegrass music. Bring a chair or blanket, picnic and enjoy an evening under the oak trees and stars. •2nd Annual Bass Tournament for Project Graduation is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, at Potter’s Creek boat launch on Canyon Lake. The tournament is $75 per boat, and runs from 6:30am to 3:00pm. •Canyon Lake Music Fest: Canyon Lake school fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 2 to 7pm at the Canyon Lake High School Football Stadium. Admission is $10 per person (families with more than 4, each additional child is $5). There will be food, fun and music with a variety of bands (Alternative, Pop, Country, Christian, Rock). Featuring: Alley Brooke, Black Doves, City of Refuge, Hesston Krause, Radio Box, Sarah McSweeney. Organized by CLHS and MVMS PTA's.

•Art in the Park: 10am to 2pm at the Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Rd., Boerne. School-aged children and adults work together on make-and-take art activities. Professional and student artists will be in the park demonstrating their talents and interacting with participants. Entertainment includes: music, theatre, dance, martial arts, storytelling and more. •Hill Country CattleWomen will host their May 19 meeting at LBJ National Historical Park near Stonewall,TX. Coffee and social at 10am, regular business meeting starts promptly at 10:30am, catered lunch at 11:30 in the Showbarn ($16), followed by a tour of the former Presidential Office at the Texas White House on the ranch. •The Hill Country Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30pm. Meeting will be held at the Chapter building - 333 Earl Garrett in Kerrville, TX. The purpose of this meeting will be to elect new board members. The meeting is open to the general public.

•Free Lunches And Breakfast For Kids 1-18: Breakfast served from 7:30 to 8:00am, each day at Blanco Elementary and High School. Lunch served at noon each day at Blanco Elementary and High School. All kids are welcome!
