PSWCD Hosts Another Successful Soil Stewardship Breakfast
Wednesday, May 6, 2009 • Posted May 5, 2009

On the morning of Wednesday, April 22, 2009 approximately 50 Blanco County citizens braved the wind on Whittington’s Mountain to join the Board of Directors of the Pedernales Soil and Water Conservation District for the 25th Annual Soil Stewardship Breakfast. Everyone was treated to campfire coffee, juice, donuts and breakfast tacos prepared by the Directors themselves. Minister Sid Spiller of the Johnson City Methodist Church presented an inspiring message about this year’s theme, “Dig It! The Secrets of Soil.”

For all who attended, it was a wonderful time for fellowship with others and to reflect on the responsibility and privilege we have to be good stewards of all that is entrusted to us.
