After a few delays, which we apologize for, we had a great night full of action. We started the night with our wonderful announcer Shane Anderson welcoming everyone to the event. Shelby Haynes gave the invocation to bless the arena, its participants and spectators. The crowd was moved by the beautiful singing voice of Rachel Wheat as she sang our Nation Anthem, while Kaleigh Anderson and Kendra Smith posted the colors. We had the most participants we have ever had; it was a wonderful sight to see all the talented young people having a great time.

We had two different age groups for the Dummy Roping this year. In the Pee Wee Division, we had eight participants entering and Lane Lowak coming in first place. In the Junior Division, we had five participants enter with Hannah Hulburt winning the rope. Then off to the races were our stick horse contestants. In the 5 and under group, we had eight speedy racers and Jaycie Gloor came out on top and won the buckle. Next was the 6 to 8 year old stick horse racers; we had two competitors running for the buckle and Skylar Wagner was the winner. The main event started up and we had 29 children from the ages of 2 thru 17 enter the horse riding competitions. There were five events for four different age groups.

The first event was the Cloverleaf Barrels. Winners in the Lead Line Division were: Kinidi Moore, first place; Racheal McGill, second place; and Andrea Huriega, third place. In the Pee Wee Division, Kaitlin Sutherland won first place. Junior Division results: Hannah Hulburt, first place; Colby Turner, second place; and Grey Grote, third place. In the Seniors Division, P.J. Pickett took first place, Kaleigh Anderson followed with second, and Kendra Smith placed third.

Moving on to Calf Riding, we had Bryce Fry coming in first with a 2.31 second ride and Grey Grote came in second place. In Steer Riding, we had four riders and Corey Gathright won first place. Then, we moved back to more horse riding events.

In the Pole Bending event, Lead Line Division winners were: Kinidi Moore, first place; Racheal McGill, second; and Andrea Huriega, third. In the Pee Wee Division, Kaitlin Sutherland was again the first place winner. Juniors Division winners were: Colby Turner, first place; Hunter Goodman, second; and Hannah Hulburt, third.
