Hill Country Memorial Hospital (HCMH) is welcoming neurologist Theresa Phillips, M.D., to its medical staff.

She has joined the Pedernales Medical Group, LLP, which also includes Pamela D. Cantu, M.D.; Michael G. Campbell, M.D.; Felice H. Howard, M.D.; James R. Partin, M.D.; and Nancy K. Thompson, M.D.

Dr. Phillips treats nervous system disorders. Common symptoms she sees include numbness in feet, reoccurring headaches, sleep disorders, tremors, memory loss, back and neck pain, pinched nerves, impaired motor skills or slurred speech. She said there are a variety of effective means to treat these symptoms or possibly reduce their severity.

Dr. Phillips comes here from Kerrville where she has practiced for the past seven years. She received her medical degree in 1994 and completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1998.

“I love Fredericksburg and being part of Pedernales Medical Group,” she said. “The hospital is wonderful, and it’s very well organized. I have received a warm welcome from the hospital staff, from the Pedernales Medical Group and from Fredericksburg in general,” she said. “I’m really looking forward to being an active part of this great community.”

Pedernales Medical Group, LLP, is located at 205 West Windcrest in the Perry-Feller Building, suite 310.

Anyone experiencing symptoms of neurological problems may call (830) 990-9101 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Phillips.
