Texas Tech University Master of Education Degree/Principal Certification Information Session and Lu

Texas Tech University offers the Master of Education in Educational Leadership with professional principal certification preparation program in the Hill Country. Certified teachers are invited to learn more about the program on Saturday, October 20 at an information session.

Dr. Joe Claudet, will be teaching class from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in Suite C (classroom) at 102 E. San Antonio Street in Fredericksburg. He invites any interested educator to come by and observe the class from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. and have lunch with cohort 6 at 1:30 p.m. He will give a program overview and take questions about the program. This degree qualifies the holder for various mid-management positions in a school district and to take the Texas principal certification exam. The next cohort will begin with the 2008 first summer session. Since 2002, 65 students have graduated from this program in the Hill Country.

The course of study is designed for working teaching professionals with classes meeting on Saturdays, evenings and summer sessions for two years. Application deadline is April 1, 2008.

Students may attend classes at any of the higher education teaching sites: Texas Tech University (TTU) at Fredericksburg (830-990-2717), TTU at Highland Lakes in Marble Falls (830-798-9548), or TTU Center at Junction (325-446-2301).
