Hill Country Chapter of The Texas Sheep & Goat Raisers’ Auxiliary Meeting Monday Oct. 22

You are invited to attend the next meeting of the HCCTSGRA to be held at Jean Sultemeier’s new log cabin that has a total rain water catchment system in place for the whole house and grounds. The guest speaker is Billy Kniffen who is the county extension agent and very knowledgeable about how to go about putting in rain water catchments systems. Jean’s home is located on 190 W. about 2 miles past the Hwy. 83 and 190 intersections in Menard. The log home will be on the left. This all takes place on Monday, October 22nd. You can arrive at 10:00 for coffee. The meeting begins at 10:30. Lunch will be served, cost is $10.00. There will also be installation of officers for 2008 and the results of the style show reported. You need not be a member to attend, just call Doris Kensing at 325-396-2519 by Thursday October 18th.

The Auxiliary wants to thank everyone that attended the luncheon and style show that was held Tuesday, September 11th. We will once again be able to provide scholarships to youth entering into an agricultural field thanks to the success of the event.
