Class of ‘54 Gathers for 55th Class Reunion
Wednesday, June 3, 2009 • Posted June 2, 2009

The Blanco High School class of 1954 celebrated their 55th anniversary at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall May 9 with 13 of the 16 remaining class members present.

Dorothy Troppy catered a delectable turkey and dressing meal.

Steve Weber led the group in a prayer and a moment of silence for those we have lost—Truman Hearne, Jamie Kay Wagner Simmons, Lee Bagby, Joe B. Wagner, and Betty LaBuff. Departed spouses are Charles Schlameus and Clinton Beierle.

As usual, there was much reminiscing and much laughter.

The next reunion will be in 2014 unless it is decided to meet earlier.
