Rogers Receives Lamar Award - School - Blanco County News

On Thursday, May 28, Dennis Moore presented Athletic Director Danny Rogers with the Mirabeau B. Lamar Medal on behalf of the Blanco Masonic Lodge #216.

The Lamar Medal honors local outstanding educators and students in Texas.

Rogers has been an educator for twenty-one years, and has taught for sixteen of those years in Blanco. He has coached football, basketball, track, power lifting and PE.
