•Free Lunches and Breakfast for Kids 1-18: Breakfast served from 7:30 to 8:00am, each day at Blanco Elementary and High School. Lunch served at noon. All kids are welcome!

•Summer Fun at First Baptist Church: Every Wednesday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, all children entering Kindergarten thru 5th grade are welcome to join us for fellowship, Bible Study, swimming, bowling, camping, eating, playing, cooking, learning, laughing, singing, and much more. Join us for the Summer Spirit Kick-Off Party on Wednesday, June 10 from 3-5pm at the First Baptist Church to see what it’s all about! We promise to have lots and lots of fun! •Blanco State Park – National Get Outdoors Day – Kick off the summer by joining us for a national day of outdoor fun! Kayaking and canoeing classes, Fishing with a Ranger, trail hikes and outdoor games will all be available for free with a day entrance into the park. 9:00am to 3:00pm. •Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation will be hosting a Small Dog Adoption Day at the Squirrel's Nest thrift store on Saturday, June 13th, from 10:00am to2:00pm. •Hill Country CattleWomen will meet June 16 at Ft. McKavett State Historical Site in Fort McKavett, Texas. The cost is $15.00 for the catered lunch and tour of the Fort. Reservations (please no later than June 9) to Beverly at 830-229-5604. For more information you may call the number listed.
