Panthers Show Bobcats Who's The King of The Jungle

The Middle School football teams traveled to Comfort for their district opener on Thursday, October 11.

The seventh grade started out the night as they took as big victory with a final score 22-6.

Tim Goodman scored three touchdowns and Jesse Ruiz and Layne Lassberg each followed up with a two point conversion. Edward Alvarado had a fumble recovery.

The eighth grade had no trouble taking a victory over the Bobcats as they ran up and down the field while leaving the Bobcats in their dust with a final score 36-0.

James Perez and Filiberto Navarro each had one touchdown and Wes Copenhaver had two touchdowns.

Copenhaver also had three two-point conversions.

Byrun Scheidt had a blocked punt and Steven Lieck had a return for a touchdown.

Quade Mayfield had an interception.

The Panthers will face Brady at home on Thursday, October 18 games are schedule to start at 5:00.
