The Youth Summer Reading Program started off last Friday, with Maggie Goodman and her tales of Texas. She began her program with how Texas was colonized by Austin and ended with a tale of Texans and bears. After the stories, the kids helped draw murals, which will be on display in the large conference room at the library for the duration of the program.

For this week’s program, Dave “The Birdman” McKelvey will be at the library at 10:30 Friday morning with his performing bird. Make sure to come down and check it out.
