Popular Green Living Fair to be Held in Fredericksburg

The 8th Annual Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair will be held this weekend, September 28-30, in Fredericksburg, Texas. Among the attractions are over 50 “tent talks” and mini-workshops, a family activities tent, 60 plus vendors, a mini-film festival, door prizes, alternative fuel vehicles, and natural and organic food and drink.

Throughout the weekend, you can learn about organic gardening and landscaping, global warming, renewable energy, building and remodeling, hybrid cars, earth-friendly clothing, investing in green business, and more. Children will can make s’mores in a solar oven, pinwheels that can turn on a light, and solar-powered cars that can be raced.

Blanco’s own Green Home Outfitters, owned by Stanley and Julie Dill and Alan and Charlotte Lovett, will host booth #25, and lead a tent-talk called “Sprucing up Your Walls Naturally” on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. They will feature the many beautiful, colorful, and healthier wall covering options available today, as well as natural floor materials and cleaning products.
