Kempf 2007 TLU Greek Goddess

Shelly Kempf, a 2005 graduate of Blanco High School actively participated in Texas Lutheran University Homecoming activities the week of October l through October 6, which was also Greek Week.

Campus sororities elected one student to represent their sorority as their Greek Goddess. Shelly was elected to represent her sorority, Xi Tau. Greek Goddesses from the various sororities competed in costume and presentation competition with themes of Texas Day, Spirit Day, Sorority Day, Decade Day, and Mardi Gras Day. Shelly’s costumes and theme presentations won her the title “2007 TLU Greek Goddess” which was announced at the Homecoming dance.

Shelly was also a nominee and candidate of the Homecoming court during half-time activities. Ashley Boyd from Edna was crowned Queen, and Shelly from Blanco and Jennifer Thames from Richmond were runner-ups.

Shelly is a senior at TLU and will be graduating in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.

Shelly is the daughter of Leo and Beverly Kempf.
