Wednesday, July 1, 2009 • Posted June 30, 2009

Each day 600 units of blood need to be collected to adequately accommodate the demands of over 100 hospitals and clinics in 43 South Texas counties.

With the community blood supply always tenuous especially during the summertime, your help is needed. In order to maintain the supply, the community is encouraged to donate blood this summer.
