J.W. “Dub” Wells

J.W. “Dub” Wells, 76, passed away July 14, 2009 at his home in Johnson City. He was born in Rocky Creek, TX to Virgil Wells and Clara Felps Wells. Dub was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Nancy Tilley and brothers, Ray and Henry Wells. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sally Moreland Wells; daughter, Dianne Brussel and husband Terry of Johnson City; two grandchildren, Brandi and Tyson Brussel; sisters, Loetta Wilson of Johnson City, Florine Stanford of Euless, TX, Anna Ruth of Marble Falls, and Emma Lou Adams of Marble Falls; brother, Buddy Wells of Johnson City. Dub is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Crofts Funeral Home, Johnson City where funeral services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, July 16, 2009. Interment will follow at Miller Creek Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson City Volunteer Fire Dept. or the North Blanco Co. EMS.
