Catherine Sherman Weidner, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Boerne, Texas on October 14, 2007, surrounded by her family. She was born in Rhode Island but made Boerne, Texas her home for the past 40 years. She was a Retired Manager of the Winn’s Store in Boerne where she worked for many years until the store closed.

She is survived by her husband, Errol Weidner; her two sisters, Edna Sauriol of Rhode Island and Linda Straker of Georgia; her son, Kenneth Raymond Sherman and his wife, Michele Sherman; her daughter, Tina Weidner Schweers and her husband, Dale Schweers; and her younger daughter, Sandra Weidner Boullioun. Her true joy in life was her grandchildren; Harley Sherman (age 15), Kristofer Kovalchuk (age 14), Sydney Sherman (age 13), Colton Weidner (age 12) and Wesley Schweers (age 10).
