This week we review an excellent series based on the Novels of Robert Parker . Tom Selleck plays Chief Jesse Stone in this series of movie's about a small town Police Chief that has escaped the big city of LA for the town of Paradise.

The first four installments are just down to earth mysteries and the Chief's no nonsense approach of how to handle the small town duties. There's a little bit for everyone here and we will be reviewing the newest installment which is the fifth in the series next week.

The Jesse Stone series is a family friendly series. Tom Selleck is really the key that holds it all together in these films; he's great at these kind of characters and it shows in this series. 3 & 1/2 paws.
