Dear Editor,

In the process of destroying our Federal Government, the reach and the imagination of the Democrats is amazing. For example, the billion dollar catastrophe called Cash for Clunkers. I was amazed this Sunday morning to hear Chairman Charles Wrangle call the program a success because the program had exhausted in four days the budget Congress had projected to last four months, or until November. That is a failure by my definition. Their program is busted, broke, without funds. If you use the Democrat definition of success, they are succeeding. Success for them is bankrupting the U.S.A. One billion dollars divided by four days is 250 million per day. If this idiocy is continued for four months until November, it will cost 30 billion dollars. This is my projection as opposed to the Democrats, but this is typical of their power to spend and destroy our country. One billion becomes thirty billion in four months. Now there are rumblings from the car dealers that buyers will not get the cars they ordered because of gas consumption requirements in the bill that no one read.
