At around 9:30am on Tuesday morning, the driver of this truck left 13th Street, narrowly missed a group of trees and ran into the building located at 13th and Elm. The driver was air lifted, but the extent of the injuries was unknown as of press time.

There were two people inside the building, however, they were not in the room that was impacted by the collision and were not injured.

The truck sustained considerable damage, and the force knocked bricks off the building, sent bookcases flying inside the building and left a gaping hole in the corner of the building.

It was not immediately clear what caused the truck to leave the roadway.
