Hill Country Memorial Wellness Center is offering several options this year for flu shots.

Tomorrow, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the center will be conducting its annual Flu Shot Drive-Through at the EMS Building, 221 Friendship Lane in Fredericksburg.

For those who miss the drive-through, flu shots will be available at the Wellness Center Mondays through Thursdays from 1:30p.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, Oct. 29. Appointments are not necessary.

On Thursday, Nov. 1, the center will conduct a flu shot drive-through at the Chamber of Commerce building in Stonewall from 7 to 9 a.m.

Additionally, Wellness Center personnel will come to local businesses with 10 or more employees and administer the shots. Call the center to schedule a date and time.

A donation of $20 per shot is requested at any of the locations.

Dawn Bourgeois, Wellness Center director, reminds the public that children six months through 17 will need a doctor’s prescription to have the shot. For more information, call 997-1355.
