Maxine Wagner, 80, passed away on August 7, 2009 at Live Oak Medical Center. She was born March 14, 1929 at Twin Sisters to Rudolph Liesmann and Erna Jonas Liesmann. Maxine loved to sew and was an excellent seamstress. She made most of Connie’s clothes when she was young.

Maxine loved to cook, dance and go to parties. She loved to laugh and got great enjoyment from laughing at other people’s jokes.

Maxine worked fifteen years at Live Oak Nursing Home.

Maxine loved her husband, children, and the rest of her family as well as her pets. She especially enjoyed holidays with her family. Maxine is survived by her husband, Douglas Wagner, her son, Perry Wagner, her daughter, Connie Russell and one sister, Ora Kneupper, all of Blanco. She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 9 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Crofts Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, August 10 at 10:00am at Crofts Funeral Home in Blanco. Interment will follow at Blanco Cemetery. Pallbearers are James “Butch” Lindner, Mike Lindeman, Denny Wagner, Wade Wagner, Benny Fuchs, Gary Wood and Robert Preiss.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Trinity Lutheran Church.
