Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Criminal Cases

• Oliver Jason Farnsworth, of Temple, was fined $284.10 for speeding on Sep 10, 2005 (DPS).

• Chanel Riser, of Wichita Falls, was fined $148.00 for unsafe speed on Feb 3 (DPS).

• John Matthew Scott, of Devine, was fined $158.75 for driving on the wrong side of the road (not passing) on Nov 5, 2007 (DPS).

• Adrian Dominguez, of Blanco, was fined $238.00 for speeding on Feb 10 (DPS).

• Adrian Dominguez, of Blanco, was fined $167.00 for no driver’s license on Feb 10 (DPS).

• Bryan Forrest Boutwell, of Spring Branch, was fined $162.00 for speeding on Jul 6, 2007 (CVE).

• Tony Larue Hibbitts, of Spring Branch, was fined $198.00 for speeding on Dec 7, 2007 (DPS).

• Jesse Nobert Reyna, of Blanco, was fined $144.00 for riding while not secured by a safety belt on Oct 15, 2007 (DPS).

Mar 14

• Animal Complaint. 10:45 AM. Dog bite reported on Mesquite.

• Theft. 6:52 PM. A bicycle was reportedly stolen from Hill Country Stop.

Mar 15

• Criminal Mischief. 10:51 AM. An air conditioning unit was reportedly vandalized near C.J’s.

• Reckless Driver. 1:22 PM. US 281.

• Noise Complaint. 5:51 PM. Loud music reported at C.J’s.

• Noise Complaint. 8:23 PM. Greenlawn Pkwy.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 10:07 PM. A caller requested an officer to speak with (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Disturbance. 10:46 PM. Sta-Bilt. Officers reported that everything was OK (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Possible Intoxicated Driver. 11:49 PM. US 281.

Mar 16

• Intoxicated Person. 1:15 PM. Speedy Stop.

• Suspicious Person / Arrest. 10:09 PM. A suspicious subject was reportedly sitting in front of Video Shak, holding up a bag. An officer responded and arrested the subject.

Mar 17

• Reckless Driver. 6:48 AM. US 281.

• Stranded Motorist. 7:16 AM. US 281.

• Burglary. 9:43 AM. A subject reportedly attempted to break into the caller’s car at Dairy Queen. Some damage was done to the driver’s side door.

• Juvenile Complaint. 3:48 PM. A caller reported teenagers fighting in front of the Blanco Library.

• Hit and Run. 10:47 PM. A hit and run accident reportedly occurred in Comal County at 306. The caller followed the subject into Blanco County. Officers responded and stopped the subject at Cielo Springs (with Blanco Co. SO).

Mar 18

• Juvenile Complaint. 8:06 AM. A juvenile was reportedly riding a bicycle down RR 32. The subject was located (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Verbal Disturbance. 5:00 PM. A caller reported a fight on Jones Ave (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Alarm. 10:41 PM. Residential.

• Reckless Driver. 7:19 PM. US 281.

Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

These reports were filed between Mar 14 and Mar 19.

Mar 14

• Smoke Investigation. 10:05 AM. A caller was worried about smoldering brush piles from controlled burns the previous day.

• Prisoner Transport. 10:21 AM. Doctor’s appointment.

• Prisoner Transfer. 3:09 PM. Two inmates were taken to Comal County.

• Burn Ban Violation. 3:54 PM. The fire department requested an officer to meet the firefighters on the scene. A card was left at the residence advising subjects about the burn ban.

• Traffic Hazard. 6:21 PM. A donkey was on the roadway on RR 1323.

• Disturbance / Suspicious Person. 9:18 PM. A caller reported a subject who wouldn’t leave when asked. When the caller called 911, the subject left and went home.

• Motorist Assist. 11:38 PM. A caller on US 290 East needed assistance changing a flat tire.

Mar 15

• Information / Sex Offender. 6:49 AM. A caller informed the Sheriff’s Office that a sex offender would be visiting a subject and would go to the office to fill out paperwork.

• Suspicious Person. 10:05 AM. A subject was reportedly harassing the caller’s tenant. An officer spoke with the appropriate people.

• Criminal Mischief. 10:52 AM. A caller reported beer kegs and litter on a vacant property, as well as trails made with trucks. The caller was concerned that it was an unsafe situation. An officer would respond if the people returned to the area.

• Suspicious Person. 12:32 PM. An officer responded to the call on RR 1323 and met with the caller and suspicious persons. The situation was settled; the subjects were just lost.

• Motorist Assist. 5:47 PM. US 281. The subjects already had a ride.

• Alarm. 7:26 PM. Residential.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 8:20 PM. A caller reported a vehicle parked at a residence while the owners were out of town.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 9:12 PM. A caller reported something suspicious going on. An officer was requested.

• Burn Ban Violation. 9:16 PM. A campfire in Twin Sisters subdivision.

Mar 16

• Traffic Accident. 12:20 AM. One-vehicle accident reported. The driver attempted to dodge a deer.

• Theft. 7:40 AM. A wallet was found.

• Loose Livestock. 8:43 AM. A calf was loose on RR 2766.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 2:48 PM. A caller reported two dead animals and requested an officer to check out the situation.

Mar 17

• Unattended Death. 10:29 AM.

• Loose Livestock. 1:17 PM. Goats were reported out near Stanton Ranch.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 2:45 PM. A mailbox was reportedly tampered with and the mail had been missing for a few days.

• Motorist Assist. 7:47 PM. The lug nuts reportedly fell off a wheel on a car. The caller requested a wrecker and an officer meet them on US 281, in front of the Exotic Zoo.

Mar 18

• Welfare Check. 8:42 AM. A caller reportedly couldn’t contact an individual and requested an officer to check on them. The subject was OK.

• Welfare Check. 10:29 AM. Vehicle on US 281.

• Alarm. 4:17 PM. Residential.

Mar 19

• Traffic Hazard. 6:19 AM. A caller reported a bunch of clothes strung across the highway. An officer removed the items from US 281.

• Theft. 11:28 AM. Weapons were reportedly stolen from a residence. A report was filed.

• Inmate Transport. 11:34 AM. Comal County.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 7:13 PM. A subject reportedly threw rocks at an individual. An officer settled the problem at the scene.

• Traffic Accident. 10:41 PM. A caller reportedly hit a guard rail on US 290 East and requested help. A wrecker was requested.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 11:09 PM. US 281, south of 32 at Blanco Cowboy Church Trail.
