Enchanted

Keith–Enchanted is a wonderful Disney family film that starts out in the spoofy cartoon land of a Prince, Princess, Evil Stepmom, and birds singing with the excitement of love in the air. This world quickly fades when a spell is put on the princess-to-be and she ends up in New York... that’s right, NewYork. Amy Adams is perfect in this movie, she’s the embodiment of a cartoon character come to life, and this movie is full of fun and laughs as her Prince tries to rescue her from this dreary land and return her to her fairytale world. This is a fun journey for kids and adults alike. 3 paws

Noel–Enchanted is a quirky Disney film that starts off quite obnoxiously with the singing, but I think that in the beginning it’s trying to be that way and is sort of making fun of typical princess Disney movies. The Princess has fallen in love with her dream Prince and goes off to get married. Along the way, she encounters an old woman who congratulates her and offers for her to make a wish in a pool of water. Well, the little old lady turns out to be the Prince’s evil stepmother, who ends up pushing the princess into the water and sending her to New York. Soon afterwards, the Prince finds out what has happened and he, along with some other really funny characters, end up in New York. Amy Adams must have watched a ton of Disney movies before she started this role because she plays the “animated princess” role perfectly! This is a great family film that I really enjoyed; it has no cuss words or inappropriateness, and you can feel safe watching this with your children and your entire family. 3 ½ paws
